About Bill Billingslea

9/10/1958 – 12/20/2015

Chief Warrant Officer Bill Billingslea, 57, entered the US Army on May 17, 1978.  He was trained as a Special Forces Commo Sergeant.  He served with the 10th Special Forces Group (ABN) and with numerous classified units to include the 410th Special Forces Detachment in West Berlin during the cold war.  In 1992 he graduated the Warrant Officers Course and retired in 1999

His awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (3rd AWD), Army Commendation Medal (3rd AWD), Army Achievement Medal (3rd AWD), Good Conduct Award (4th AWD), Army of Occupation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Master Parachutist Badge, Military Freefall Master Parachutist Badge and Special Forces Tab.

After retirement, he became a Senior Intelligence Analyst for the Department of the Treasury and conducted 2 deployments to Iraq.  He continued to work with and support DOD forces in combat and conflict areas.
